The Board of Trustees strongly urges you to comply with the following:

  • Determine if the Water Connection Fee is paid. The Aspen Mountain Secretary can research records if you are uncertain.
  • A complete set of plans including plan and elevations views, site plan with distances to property lines noted, and outer finish materials noted must be supplied first to the Aspen Mountain Board of Trustees for approval. You must also obtain a Summit County building permit.
  • Prior to your contractor commencing construction, he must request Blue Stake Service, and advise the Board of Trustees. The Board is the ONLY INFORMATION SOURCE REGARDING THE LOCATION OF OUR WATER LINES. If you do not contact Aspen Mountain for water line location, you will be liable for broken pipelines.
  • A property restoration fee deposit of $500.00 must be paid prior to the commencement of work. The deposit is refundable if, following completion of the work, all trash, and building scraps, are removed, and damage to roads and cliverts are repaired. Additional charges to be made in the event it becomes necessary to hire trucks, and front end loaders, plus payment of land fill fees.
  • It is imperative that a water PRV (Pressure Valve Reducer) be installed inside your home.
  • The Plumbing Code and the Utah Public Drinking Water Rlies require that all cross connections be eliminated or protected against backflow by installing an approved backflow device or assembly.
  • DO NOT DEPOSIT TRASH & BUILDING MATERIALS ON NEARBY LOTS.
